Administered when a practitioner and/or therapist recommends that a client will be better served with specific items utilized to mitigate living conditions. Adaptive aids are devices, controls, or appliances which enable people to increase their abilities to perform activities of daily living, to participate in typical home and community activities, or control the environment in which they live or frequent on a daily basis.

Health-Related Services

Provided by a practitioner to assist with all dental needs. Provision of care costs are covered up to $1,000 in a 12-month period.
Dietary




 

Provided by a dietitian, an expert in food and nutrition, geared towards advising clients on meal planning in order to lead a healthier lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.

Dietary:

Provided by a licensed RN or LVN in order to assist with monitoring the individual's health status and consult with medical professionals regarding medication changes. A special emphasis is placed on developing strategies by which each client understands his/her medical needs.
